About Gravity Janes

Gravity Janes teaches health. If that seems obvious, then this will not surprise you: those just looking for a place to workout will not like it here.

The artificiality of modern life demands that we no longer remain passive in the face of contemporary lifestyle issues that have the ability to be destructive to the concepts of health.

Health requires knowledge and dedication before it requires physical challenges. If you are not willing to learn and are not totally committed to the task of becoming healthier, you are just working out. We have a much higher standard for the human body.

Gravity Janes will always provide the necessary environment and knowledge for dedicated people to become the healthiest people they can be. While we already know the profound effect this level of fitness has on human performance and the quality of one's life, we are only now beginning to realize how many years out we can extend that quality of life. That's a discovery we'd love to make with you.

Getting Started At Gravity Janes

To learn more about the Gravity Janes difference, the best option is to attend our free introductory session on Saturday mornings at 9A. Space is limited; to reserve your spot please call the gym or register here. Click the "Buy Now" link - you will NOT be charged for this session and no credit card information is required.
If the Saturday session is not an option for you the staff at Gravity Janes is available for introductory sessions at other times by arrangement. Please call the gym to set up an appointment.
Introductory sessions are advised but purely optional. Whether or not you participate in an introductory session, every GJ client is required to complete 1 of 4 orientation programs - known as "Fundamentals" - before moving on to more advanced exercise. Exceptions are granted at the discretion of a Gravity Janes coach and may apply to those with some exposure to Crossfit training.
Options: Basic, Group, Accelerated, or Comprehensive. Partner rates are available on all options.

1. Basic

Basic Training workouts are designed for entry-level training at Gravity Janes, but they are also excellent stand-alone workouts for newcomers or existing clients.
The 12-session program Basic Training includes the Fundamentals education necessary to join the Advanced Group. Sessions are held on Wednesday afternoons and Sunday mornings. Drop in sessions are available on site.

2. Group

Group Fundamentals is the quickest route to Advanced Group sessions. The entire program takes place in a single 4-hour session. Group Fundamentals are held on Saturday mornings, usually once per month. Please call to inquire about the next session.

3. Accelerated

The Accelerated option is a program that features private instruction in either (4) 1-hour or (2) 2-hour private sessions. Additional family members are eligible to participate in the same sessions, and partner rates are available. Sessions can be scheduled at any time or day.

4. Comprehensive

The Comprehensive option is another individual program designed for those who want the best possible head start and the quickest results. It includes individual training that is a more in-depth education on the principles and practices of performance-based fitness, and a comprehensive diet consultation. Options are (8) 1-hour or (4) 2-hour, private sessions, or any combination of those that suits the client. Sessions can be scheduled at any time or day.
