New Strength Cycle in November


November will be another Strength Cycle month. You'll be choosing from one of the moves below, and working on your 1RM load at least twice a week for the entire month. Get a baseline reading in the first week, and work toward a significant gain by month's end. Pick one only.
  • Front Squat
  • Back Squat
  • Overhead Squat
  • Shoulder Press
  • Deadlift

The online food ordering page is available but with limited choices for now. It will expand in the near future and become more versatile. Meanwhile please use it if it suits your needs, and otherwise continue to communicate your wishes to us at the gym. New Saturday schedule

The are changes coming to the Saturday schedule beginning October 24th -

The Gang Up will remain at its usual start time and duration, but the workout will now consist of the following elements:

  • 00:00-10:00 Warm Up
  • 10:00-30:00 Conditioning Circuit (15 min max + set up and cool down)
  • 30:00-75:00 Elective exercise -
    There will typically be 2 GJ coaches on hand with plenty of suggestions for skill-building or general conditioning work to choose from. Work on your goals, or set some new ones. Get some coaching on your weakest movements, or just use the time in the way that feels the most constructive to you.

We're also adding a new 1-hour group session at 7A that will now be included in any of the unlimited plans.

The Paleo Diet Challenge


Gravity Janes announces the "Paleo Challenge" - a 6-week intensive diet program designed to introduce you to the perfect human diet. Based on the principles of the Paleo Diet, this program will answer all of your questions and address all of the issues around creating the best performance-enhancing diet possible.

Salmon Days/Rotary Run Highlights


Team Jane photo above of all the participants in this year's 5 & 10K runs, including 2 from the Gravity Kids program. This year's top time in the 10K run was Brian Blankenstein's 41:46 which placed him 39th out of all 270 men. Other top finishers for Gravity Janes were Greg Shugarts, Julien Verbrugghe, and Kate Sunas.

Ski Conditioning Camp Returns

This year's Ski Conditioning Camp returns on October 28th for 6 weeks. Get those ski muscles tuned up for the season with Coach Chris - a Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) Level 3 certified ski instructor. The group will meet Wednesdays at 6:30P for 60 minutes. Register now.
