"(This) has been quite a year, and I am so grateful to you and all the coaches at GJ. I feel like a different person. 15 months ago I was in serious trouble, but in total denial about it. It’s hard to believe that so much change can take place in a person in 15 months." Kris B

About Gravity Janes

Gravity Janes teaches health. If that seems obvious, then this will not surprise you: those just looking for a place to workout will not like it here.

The artificiality of modern life demands that we no longer remain passive in the face of contemporary lifestyle issues that have the ability to be destructive to the concepts of health.

Health requires knowledge and dedication before it requires physical challenges. If you are not willing to learn and are not totally committed to the task of becoming healthier, you are just working out. We have a much higher standard for the human body.

Gravity Janes will always provide the necessary environment and knowledge for dedicated people to become the healthiest people they can be. While we already know the profound effect this level of fitness has on human performance and the quality of one's life, we are only now beginning to realize how many years out we can extend that quality of life. That's a discovery we'd love to make with you.

Jane Says...

"We need to wipe the slate clean of our current exercise, and even our very concept of fitness. The failure of current modes of fitness is in the lack of a clear and cohesive goal. When we return to a goal of original performance-based fitness, the exercise most are engaged in now becomes entirely inadequate to the purpose."

Nutrition and Lifestyle Seminars

Gravity Janes teaches health via nutrition, lifestyle, and exercise. The truest path to health occurs in that order, which means that nutrition will always be your number one issue if health is your number one goal.
The second most important area of your life you can address for health is your lifestyle choices; those non-nutrition daily behaviors that can dramatically affect your health: stress, sleep, social activities, etc. Finally, the exercise component should support a healthy lifestyle, and never attempt to compensate for a lousy one.
All of these issues will be addressed fully by Gravity Janes founder and head of programming, Dave Young, in the next nutrition and lifestyle seminar. Powerful yet simple tools for healthy living outside of the gym will be taught. Participants will receive a hardbound copy of our reference manual on the subject, and handouts featuring tips, strategies, and other guidelines for healthy living. You will also learn how to provide your children with nutrition that will help them on their way to a lifetime of healthy behaviors and absolute weight management.
Seminars are approximately 90 minutes, and held at the Gravity Janes facility in Issaquah. Please see the Gravity Janes nutrition blog at www.gravityu.com.
The next Gravity U Seminar will be Tuesday, May 3rd, at 6:30PM. Register for this program online here.
